He got fired, basically.
We’re not supposed to know their names, you know. They don’t want you to go around Disneyland shouting their actual names at them, because that would ruin the magic for the little kids.
Pretty much everyone knows Andrew’s name, so. :/
And, spread the word! Let your friends know!
Even if they don’t like Spieling, or even Peter Pan at all, have them like our page and tweet “#spielingreturntodisney” @disneyland! <3
C’mon! <3
No, we tweeted to him with the hashtag #spielingreturntodisney and he asked me who started it and he told Chelsea and my friend Molly that he wishes he could still be Peter.
I’ve never gone there either! And I was quite disappointed the other day when I found out he didn’t work there anymore.
But, from what I’ve heard and seen in the “Andrew Ducote” tag, is that he goes to Disneyland a lot. There’s loads of pictures of people meeting him and Hali, so even if he’s not playing Peter, people still have a huge chance of meeting him.
But, I personally, would rather meet him as Peter, at least at first. I’d love to meet Andrew as a person as well.
BY THE WAY. ANYONE READING THIS…
DO NOT TWEET THAT HASHTAG TO ANDREW. TWEET IT TO @DISNEYLAND.
Well the two most common reasons I’ve heard are:
He was too old. Even if he is, he still looks like a teenager.
And, we’re not supposed to know the actor’s real names. If someone were to go up to one of the actors and call them by their real name in front of little kids, it could end up ruining the magic for them. And, Andrew’s name ended up everywhere. And most people will say that’s the reason he had to leave.
He didn’t leave on his own; he was let go.
Spieling is the only one who legitly goes up to kids and starts playing with them. Huggy Pan’s alright. If I were to go to Disneyland right now, and I saw him, I’d be content.
But, Spieling…He’s the only one who ever got Peter Pan down to a science.
And again,
refer to the last two messages.
Okay, first of all…
He loved being Spieling Peter. He still spends a lot of his time at Disneyland.
Second of all… He got fired, from what I know, because of us and because he’s too old. He did not quit. I know that’s true, for sure. This is not selfish.
There’s nothing bigger than working at Disneyland as one of the greatest characters ever.
And, I don’t know about you, but I’ve spent hours watching videos of Peter Pans at Disneyland.
None of the others get Peter down. Spieling is the best. He’s childish, selfish, fun, and a little bit conceited. He plays with the kids. He’s random. He. Is. Peter. Only one of the other actors comes close.
The only time I will stop this is when Andrew Ducote himself messages me and tells me to. And you know what… Andrew Ducote himself has messaged Chelsea and myself about it. He asked what it was and who started it. And he also said he wishes he could go back.
So, this. is. not. selfish.
Refer to my last answer.
No offense, but one of the many great ideas taught by Disney, that I at least got, is that “nothing is impossible.”
And another one is to believe. And from what I’ve heard, the reason he was let go was because he’s getting too old. That’s a terrible reason. He’s not too old at all, and even if he were, that’s where the whole believing concept comes in.
He can be whatever we believe him to be. So, if he says he’s a little boy, then he’s a little boy.
We adore Andrew/Spieling and this page is not directed towards him, seeing as he has no control over the situation, but to the people at Disney. He was perfect, and still is, for the role of Peter. In our eyes he will always BE Peter
